Navegantes International Airport – Itajaí – Ministro Victor Konder, opened on March 12, 1970, is one of the international air terminals in the state of Santa Catarina. It serves the region of Vale do Itajaí, which brings together the cities of Blumenau, Pomerode, Timbó, Indaial, Gaspar, Rio do Sul, Apiúna, Rio dos Cedros, Balneário Camboriu, Piçarra and Penha; operating only domestic and international flights to Argentina.
