Orlando Bezerra de Menezes Airport, also known as Juazeiro do Norte Airport or Cariri Regional Airport, opened on September 15, 1954, serves the Cariri region, in the state of Ceará. It operates with domestic flights to some important points in the northeast of Brazil and also to São Paulo and Brasília.

The airport does not have very comfortable facilities, but it operates 24 hours, allowing passengers to spend the night inside while waiting for their flight to depart.

Where to rest: It is recommended to have a sleeping bag or blankets, if you have to lie on the floor. The best option is probably to arrange a transfer to nearby hotels.

Baggage: There is no left luggage service inside the airport.

Food: There are a couple of cafeterias available inside the terminal, open 24 hours a day.
